Allosaurus undoubtedly ate the flesh of other dinosaurs, probably including Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Apatosaurus.

Allosaurus was one of the most widespread of the Jurassic theropods. Some individual Allosauruses may have reached sizes larger than that of Tyrannosaurus, a much later theropod, but not as large as Giganotosaurus, the largest meat-eating dinosaur known.
